Welcome to the Summer Lake Vizslas

I have been breeding dogs since I was 18, and 20 years ago my family
and I fell in love with the Vizsla breed. Over those years we were 

fortunate to have 3 amazing vizslas: Lucky, Lexie, and Lily and they are 

a great addition to the family. They are affectionate, gentle, and full of

love.

When we began obedience training with our first vizsla, Lucky,

we were surprised how quickly vizslas learn compared to other breeds

and their temperament never ceases to amaze us. They enjoy camping

with us, easily accomplishing long hours of hiking, but they also like to

cuddle next to us when we are home.
​Our dogs work in field and in show ring, but what is more important, they

are not just companions, ​but members of our family. 
A not long time ago our beloved Lucky passed away in old age and we

miss her so much. As of today, Lexie has already earned her AKC Champion

and Junior Hunter titles. Recently we’ve welcomed our 3rd generation vizsla, Lexie’s daughter Lily. She just started her show and agility carrier.
